Quartz fiber has been widely used in various scenarios for laser transmission, but in many fields, the laser transmission based on quartz fiber has reached the limit due to the nonlinear effects caused by the material, light-guiding windows, and damage mechanisms of the fiber material.

The Anti-Resonant Hollow Core Fiber (ARF) is a type of hollow core fiber, where light can be guided along the fiber axis in the low refractive index hollow core fiber. The hollow fiber has extremely low nonlinearity and a higher damage threshold. The inner transmission beam has small overlap with the surrounding glass, which provides a unique solution for high-power lasers based on fiber and creates breakthrough applications in fields such as laser manufacturing, laser ignition, defense, ultra-fast lasers, non-linear endoscopes/microscopes, and gas-based mid-infrared lasers.
